Hi,
I got my Powerstep (Pinnacle's) today. I had been wearing the Superfeet. It's like night and day difference. The Powersteps feel like a better arch support and more cushion and are quieter. I put them in my Merrell Jungle shoes and it's so comfortable. I was going to buy some Birkenstocks, but after this combo (I read on here actually), I decided that it's a great combo for the PF in my left foot. I also got the Foot Stretch one foot model. This Scott person is very knowledgeable and a great person running this place. I am convinced you can go stir crazy chasing too many things you ready. Stay with something that works! Brian |

I use the inserts all the time and they have helped tremendously to alleviate my heal pain. |

I would suggest buying the full size. The 3/4 size never seemed to stay in place. Cons: They slip out of place. |

These are great for me in shoes I don't wish to rip up by replacing insoles, or replace with a larger size. I use them in a pair of golf shoes and get excellent results. Pros: Fits without removing insole or increasing size Cons: Not as much support as full size |

These provide firm support and are good for dress shoes or other shoes in which regular Powersteps will not fit. My only complaint is they occasionally slip out of place. |

They are working good. Thanks. |

This is the 3rd pair of SlimTech 3/4 inserts I have had. 5 years ago I had the lazer surgery for bone spurs and have used the SlimTechs since to prevent further spurs. I also tried the full length inserts but I don't like them as well. The 3/4 can be moved easily from shoe to shoe. |

I bought several pairs of these for my dress shoes and shoes with cramped forefeet and toe boxes. After trying practically every half-insert and heel cup on the market I can truthfully say these are the best. Great arch support, and the beveled edge means you are never aware of the point where the insert ends and your shoe's insole begins. I will say it is crucial to get the right length so that this is true, as my podiatrist cautioned me. If you buy one that is too long or short, you may get chafing or rubbing at the front edge. Also realize they make your heel sit a bit too high in low vamp dress shoes. I needed extra tape to keep mine in place (it comes with a small double sided tape pad). Pros: Work great in dress shoes extra toe forefoot space Cons: need to make sure size is perfect, tape in place |

The SlimTech 3/4 inserts are the best arch supports I have ever worn. I have had prescription orthotics and have tried numerous non prescription arch supports. The SlimTech inserts are a superior design and are not expensive.

I use the 3/4 length Slim Tech in dress type shoes. They work well for this purpose because I have less space for inserts in my dress shoes.
I use the full length for walking shoes and for work. My foot doctor approves these inserts, even though he makes custom ones for several hundred dollars. |

Works well in all my shoes - from running to dress styles. Great service from supplier - from order to shipping. Thanks. |

These work great for my heel pain. They slip in some dress shoes, but without double stick tape, that's to be expected. Powersteps, both in this 3/4 size and in the regular full shoe size, have enabled me to work in regular shoes again. They are wonderful. |

Unfortunately, the 3/4 inserts are make my shoes too small even though they are slimmer than the full sized ones. I may consider bringing them along for my next shoe purchase so that I can at least use them with new shoes. Pros: good suppost Cons: makes my shoes small |

These have helped a great deal, although I still have pain. I do have trouble fitting into some of my shoes - I have a high instep though. The price is very reasonable, and I am here to order another one. |

Eliminated my foot pain, last forever Pros: got rid of my pain, fits all my shoes Cons: slips out open heeled shoes;need more velcro |

This insert helped some, but not nearly enough. I can wear tennis shoes, or other flat style shoes a little with them in (without them I can't at all). I have found that for me at least the thing that helps me the most is a high heel. I have the least pain and can be on my feet the most when wearing about a 2-1/2" heel. So others might try that as well if they are not having luck with other things. |

Not enough lateral support and it was a bit narrow for my foot. I don't have an overly wide foot. Just ordered a 3/4 insert from Birkenstock . It is wonderful |

Overall a helpful piece of equipment in treating heal pain. Pros: Works with dress shoes Cons: Not as effective as full length |

Works well to eliminate heel pain with most of my shoes, including golf shoes. Good product for price. Was suggested by my podiatrist as inexpensive alternative to custom orthotics. They stay in place for me without tape so I can easily switch a single pair of inserts from one pair of shoes to another. |

I love this product! Best inserts I've ever used and I've tried many. I'm on my feet from 6:30am till 6:00pm. They have really saved my feet from pain I used to get from other inserts. Pros: very sturdy. Cons: none |
Rating: 2 by JoAnn |
These inserts are very firm, but did not support my feet very well at all. I ordered the size indicating by the size guide, but they were too short and didn't line up with my feet in the right places. Also...because I have high arches, the curve of the arch in this insert didn't come close to providing the kind of arch support that I need. It is probably an ideal product for the right kind of feet, but not for high arches. Pros: They are very firm and the slim design is great. Cons: The fit was not good for me. |

Great product for super price Pros: easy to swirch to all types of shoes, helps arch Cons: none |
Rating: 4 by Karl |
This is a very good quality insole for its ability to maintain good arch support. But if I were going to improve it somehow, it would be to provide a perimeter support around the top of the heel area, allowing my sensitive heel to rest on the perimeter without the center part of the bottom heel, the most sensitive part, to have any pressure on it. But again, this is a very well-built piece of equipment. |

I have one pair and it has helped ease my heal pain. It has worked well in several shoes but will not work in all shoes like athletic shoes that already have a significant medial arch support. It has worked better than Dr. Scholl's and for the price is not bad. I haven't had any problem with it staying in place and haven't used the double sided tape. I may order a couple more pair. |

I purchased and use both the 3/4 and full size inserts and have been wearing them daily since they arrived. I fully endorse them. Unless you do not care about money, you owe it to yourself to try these before spending a lot for custom made inserts. I believe you will find they do a superb job at areasonable cost. |

The inserts having been working out great. I have a lot less pain and imagine with time will have none. Along with the great advice from the website I've been making an effort to stretch my calfs more as well. The slimtechs are perfect you hardly feel them, I've used other inserts that I felt more and they weren't helping with the pain. Would recommend these to anyone dealing with heel spurs
thank you! |

The slim tech 3/4 inserts fit quite a bit better in my shoes than the full size insert. They made my foot a bit sore the first few times I wore them, and you can't wear them all day right away. Once I got use to them, the comfort level improbed. But it has helped to alleviate my problem with plantar faaciitis. |

I purchased 3 different size inserts from Powerstep to test. I also purchased a few other brands including Superfeet as recommended by http://www.healspurs.com . I had previously purchased Wal-Mart type inserts with little success. The PowerStep and related products are similar to orthotic inserts. They may be identical for some people. A soft spongy material under the inserts in the right place might result in a better fit. My orthotics arrived today and they are slightly different than my best results with the PowerStep inserts. It will be interesting to find out it the expensive orthotics work as well. It is my guess that any physical therapist or podiatrist can satisfy 80% of their patients with Powerstep and Superfeet inserts. They might have to give up the word "orthotic" and some extra money but if they are there to truly serve the patient then they should have a drawer full of these well made $30 inserts available for fitting. Then they would need to have some soft spacer material to fine tune the arch and the angle of tilt to one side or the other. All of this spacer material should probably be placed underneath the insert. The firmness of the insert is needed for stability. The soft material under the insert provides the cushion effect. I gave this product a 4 rating because it might not work for everyone. I’m sure it will be a 5 rating for many people. |

This product is virtually useless to me. It won't stay in place - it fits poorly and slides around despite the double-sided tape provided (which simply doesn't work). Don't buy it ... it's a waste of money! |

I purchased the SlimTech 3/4 inserts to wear in my leather dress shoes as i have a heel spur on my left foot. I have tried other mfg. and found them to be to thick which caused the instep to be tight at the top of my foot. These SlimTech 3/4 inserts are the perfect size and thickness for my use and I would recommend them to any one needing an insert that would be used in a shoe that does not have a removeable insole. Same great support as the Powerstep full size, but with less bulk. |

Once in place they seem to do a good job of supporting your arches, and therein lies the problem I have with them. 'Once in place' While the top of the inserts are smooth, the bottom seems ever smoother and thus they tend to slide on down into your shoe (towards the toe) as you are putting your shoes on. If it were not for this fact, I would rate them a 5. However, the aggervation of having to be so careful in putting your shoes on each time with them in place drops 'my' rating for them to only a 3. I think a large part of the problem is the bottom of the insoles are also slick and thus tend to slide down whenever you go to put your shoes on. I have found no easy method to keep them in place as you slide your foot into your shoes, and often it ends up an exercise that takes three hands, or so it seems. Quality, well-built product that works once in place, but a hassle to put on. Pros: Well Made and durable. Cons: An exercise in patience |

I ordered the 3/4 inserts after trying the full size PowerStep insoles. These are great for my shoes that don't have a removable insole like dress shoes and casual shoes. They allow me to wear dress shoes other than my expensive Footprints (made by Berkenstock) which is a big relief since the Footprints are so expensive. My feet feel almost as good as when I use the full size PowerStep insoles and I can be on my feet for several hours at a time without pain. I highly recommend the 3/4 inserts! Pros: Fits my normal dress shoes Cons: slides around until you get your foot in the shoe |
Rating: 3 by forhym216 |
I thought these insoles were just okay. The advantage is that they fit in most shoes, including women's dress shoes, which are hard to fit. However, I found they did not provide much relief for my condition (peroneal tendinitis). They may work great for other things, but for me, they didn't do much. I do much better buying shoes they are made for foot problems, like Danskos and Merrells - they are expensive, but are worth the investment. Pros: Small enough to fit most shoes Cons: Not very much relief |

Ignore my previous! I love these now I have had more time to get used to them.
They support the arch while leaving room in the toes. I love the pinnacle powersteps but they make the toe box too tight in many shoes.
I have not even tried to trim them for even dressier shoes--but I do love them now. Pros: fit more shoes Cons: use pinnacle powersteps in sneakers |

The inserts really do help if you have any problems with your feet. My doctor recommended I get them and I could purchase them from his office. But they were a lot more expensive for the same thing. I wear the inserts everyday and really can tell the difference. Pros: long lasting and good quallity |

Works very well. I replaced some generic 1/2 drugstore inserts with these. This pair of dress shoes is snug and doesn't have enough room for the regular Powerstep inserts. This product provides the arch support I need while keeping the shoes from feeling too tight. The adhesive has kept them in place well. For my other shoes with ample room, I prefer the full size inserts, but this product lets me comfortably wear this particular pair of dress shoes. |

I have found these inserts to be very good but I cannot fit them into my shoes without first removing the inner-sole & that is quite fiddly! However they do relieve the pain in my heels & I can walk a lot further when I have them in my shoes - definately worth trying. |
