Well here is the web site, www.birkenstock.com , does not list any store in Canada but you can order from a catalog to most countries. Know there are some in vermont, maybe near enough for you. You might be able to e-mail them for more information. As for what type.. start with maybe a sandal, most seem to like the arizona which I have and love. Try them or another sandal and see how they do, lots of people see some improvement, as to me it got to the point of being afraid to get up and walk with so much pain and birks have helped me to lead a more normal life so far hehe.
