Hi Marie,
3 yrs!I can`t imagine ...I have been diagnosed with pf since June 1rst,I had to quit my job of which I had only worked 4 1/2 months.I have experienced past medical issues and thought I had finally gained control of my life there.I am married(second time),between us we have 6 kids,so,finally having a couple of them out on their own,I figured I had a balance of taking my life onto the next journey only to be stricken with this!May I also add,I just turned 35 on 7-16!I don`t know where to turn since there is no insurance,my husband is trying to get a new business started with limited funds to begin with, only to have the added stress of medical bills.I did apply. It states to help a couple different ways.I for one do not want to be deemed totally disabled, because I hope this will not last, but,if I am going to be laid up,I want to know I have another option to not become homeless to boot.
With my symptoms coming and staying so strong,it feels I was struck with a brick, fallen and can`t get up!I think we all have a lot to be thankful for,but the time comes when enough is enough and we want to live like we did before we were 'struck'.My days consist of going from one chair to another,I leave my leg down too long and my foot turns purply(circulation to boot?),I have swelling on inner ankle,am unable to bear full pressure on foot and the pain is to the core and pretty much constant. At times more severe.I have relied on many people to help carry out my family responsiblities. My personality is being affected and I just want a little personal freedom back. Now that I have vented once again, another thank you for this site seems to be in order!
