I agree with the advice you've been given so far. I use running shoes and Kathy is right...you should make sure your heels are elevated. My feet don't tolerate orthodics (they seemed to exacerbate the problem) so I eventually got a stable sneaker and put some of those polypropaline inserts in them. I added tuli cups too (these give just enough extra lift and also help hold my narrow heel firmly in the shoe!) My feet have improved quite a bit since I switched to this method rather than orthodics. Thanks to Eileen for suggesting Reebock dmx...I'll try those next! Rhonda
