Has anybody heard of taking the antibiotic doxycycline for PF?

Hi, recently I phoned in to a radio show to ask a popular doctor about my PF and he said since it started at the same time as tendonitis in my arm that it may be systemic. He told me to try taking doxycycline. I read some info today, however, which says that taking this antibiotic can cause the onset of Lupus!! I'd appreciate any information anyone could provide!
