I have dealt with a lump(quarter sized with one starting just under it) in the bottom of my right foot for yrs.I have dealt with it by walking more on the side of my foot and of course when I went shoe shopping,that foot decide whether I buy the shoes or not.Now that I have been diagnosed with PF in left foot and other problems with it,the right foot has taken much more stress and at times hurts worse than the left.
When I questioned the Drs.,they said it was Neuroma and only option to rid it would be surgery.I was also told that I somehow damaged the fascia yrs. ago by maybe stepping on a sharp rock?And it was scar tissue that has built up.
I`m not planning to do anything extreme with that foot yet,we`ll see how long I suffer through the left one.I have been on crutches and very minimal activity since June 4th.The last couple days,the pain has been a little less intense and the painkillers have finally felt like they are working.I hope it means that it`s on the way to healing and the pain has lessened for good.If not,it is still a favored dream!
