Mark McGwire's PF doc is in Houston

A while back I read on this message board that Mark McGwire had had PF surgery from an orthopedist, Dr. Baxter in Houston, TX.

I hope I'm not passing on wrong info, but that is what I remember--please verify by reading past posts.

However, while everyone else is interested in McGwire's swing, I was looking at his feet. I noticed that he wears a big black brace over the top of his left foot.

I would love to know if that is a precaution to prevent further injury or if he is still in pain from PF.

Anyone know?
