I've actually been doing yoga off and on for 10 years. I found just standing barefoot hurt me. But I did it anyways because I love yoga but it did nothing for my pf. I did the hatha-integral style of yoga. I've also tried the Iyengar style and that is harder on pf'ers since it involves more standing poses.
