Hi Melissa-Thanks so much for responding. I saw my physiatrist today. He mentioned that the spots on my xrays might be calcification and recommended that I see a ortho surgeon. I know your surgery was in a different spot from where mine will be, but could you tell me what your surgery was like, how long was your recovery, was your surgery successful, did they repair the torn ligament as well as remove the calcification...?
Also, can anyone out there recommend a very good ortho surgeon? I'm interviewing two in my area--SE Mich--but I would gladly travel to find a good one. Has anyoe heard of an ortho(?) clinic in Cleveland? I seem to remember hearing about a good one there.
I don't know what I'd do without this site.
