Add me in to. I am 50 and on the verge of menopause. I also have other various aches and pains that have been helped a lot by glucosamine and chondroitin. I was going to try and put off taking estrogen until I really got the hot flashes bad. I am very fine boned and when I go on estrogen I figured it would be long term for osteoporosis prevention (indefinitely) so I did not want to start it any sooner than I had to. But the connection between hormones, PF and arthritis is interesting. It was 4 years ago my PF really flared up, at the point I would be perimenopausal. I am wondering about going to the doctor and requesting estrogen now jut to see if it would help.
