I wondered if it is because women tend to wear the wrong shoes (non-supportive like skimpy sandals) for so many years that it finally catches up with us in our 30's and up. Also, I agree that women are more likely to talk about their feelings (aches and pains) more than men. More men probably read the posts (books and other info) but they don't usually look for answers by discussing these things like women do.
