Unfortunately, Rhonda is correct. Doctors see so many heel pain patients that they do give shots and orthotics automatically.

But after two years of that treatment not working, he should have suggested other options. Even after six months of no relief with orthotics, another course of therapy should be discussed.

I'm sorry that you received poor medical care, but it was probably not enough to be considered negligent.
