My experience with this horrible problem

I work out five days a week, crosstraining, and I walk over one hundred rounds of golf yearly. My pain is on the left heel, which I feel is directly related to the pivoting in the golf swing. Recently I began taping the heel daily, taking 1000mg of Vitamin C, and Aleve. I don't jump out of bed anymore...I lower my feet to the floor, and take it s l o w ! I also stretch regularly. I have found some relief, but I want more. Are you aware the homerun icon Mark McGwire almost retired from baseball several years ago because of plantar faciitus? I understand he uses orthotics. Keep the info coming...I needed this page.
