follow-up on acupuncture and other non-western approaches

I have just had a fascinating two hours with a German-Chinese doctor here in Hong Kong - fully qualified in both Western and Chinese medicine. After lengthy questioning about medical history, he gave me a thorough examination and was able immediately to pinpoint pain/pressure points (on my butt, towards the knee, bottom of the shin, as well as on the heel/ankle itself) It was uncanny how he was able to locate pain points which, he says, are all linked to the PF. He gave me some enzymes as an anti-inflammatory, and I begin a program of acupuncture and "draining of stagnant blood" next week. He was very interested in other problems I have had in my left leg - two major ligament tears in the ankle and a blood clot over the years. Will keep y'all informed........
