20 patients were treated in Canada last week at the institute of sports medicine by drs Galea and Schaden. The majority were treated for PF with the balance for tennis elbows and partially torn rotators. 19 of 20 completed the 20 minute treatment stating that the pain was mild to moderate (obviously it was tolerable). Initial treatment results were quite compelling and I hope that several post to this site as there progress is noted. There is no electric shock being passed to the body. A shockwave is generated (similar to the kidney stone procedure) and focused on the pathological condition. Depending on ones pain threshhold, and the level of anesthesia, the treatment can range from comfortable to unpleasant. I look forward to hearing from the other patients.
