Can you swim? I looked in the phone book and found an olympic size pool where I go 3-4 times a week. I am losing weight and feel so wonderful all over, except for my poor foot! The next thing I am going to try is a macrobiotic diet. Every time in my life that something has been wrong with me or hurt me, I've turned to a Japanese practitioner who treated me with shiatsu and a macrobiotic diet. There is something about this chronic condition that points to the body being out of balance. This diet will put the body back in balance and then the body can heal itself. (Along with stretching, icing, etc.)For the past couple of years I have been eating mostly protein to lose weight -- and I have lost. BUT, at the expense of my body's overall balance and well-being. It's worth a try.
