Doug, I can relate to your mother's suffering and feeling of defeat
with the problem she is having. I too have suffered for 6 years with
this problem. The turning point for me was when the current podiatrist referred me to a rheumatologist. He was going to sent
me to a Pain Clinic until he noticed some other symptom's that he
thought could be related to arthritis. My test turned out negative
but while waiting on the test results to come back the rheumatiologist
put me on 200mg of Oruval Ketoprophen for 2 weeks.. I had bursitis in my right hip also and it was gone in a week. My feet actually feel better. I am now taking 150mg. once a day and go back in a month.
Have your Mom check with her Dr. Mine says that the Ketoprophen has
been proven to go directly to the inflamed area, and even made it all
the way to the feet. Other Dr's had told me the other N'said products
would not help my feet. I hope this information may help. Good luck and my God bless.
