In my case, I am very overweight. However, I don't believe weight causes pf, though I also believe it doesn't help it. I really believe that waitressing on a very hard floor for a few years caused me to get pf. It took me a couple of podiatrists to figure out the name and this site to help with some remedies. Naproxin and icing seems to help but it is so frustrating! Know that you aren't alone!:o)
