Glucosomine is not prescription. Any drug store has it over the counter. Also health food stores. Be sure & get Glucosomine "Sulfate" Very important. I took the other for a year with no results and when aI was told about sulfate & switched I felt an almost immediate difference. It;s not a big difference you'll still feel pain but it does help. Bea
