SEVERE heel pain

Posted by Mimi on 12/09/98
I'm not sure if I'm in the right place or not to post this. I've had numerous back surgeries and since my bone fusion in 1992 I've had a gradual onset of heel pain. It wasn't too bad at first just hurt every now and then. The Neuro docs and ortho docs have all told me it's coming from my back, it's called referred pain, which radiates from my back down my legs to my heels. Now I'm being told I have PF. I never had the first pain with my heels until after my bone fusion. Now it is has gotten so bad I can't hardly walk in the mornings. I'm taking 4 vicoprofen a day just to be able to cope with this pain in my heels. I've been searching on the net about this surgery they do to correct this PF, would appreciate any other information you might have on this. I've already had five back operations, and don't want to go through a useless one unless it will help. Thanks....
