I have had 4 cortisone shots. I didn't think the pain of the shot was all that bad since the pain in my foot seemed a lot worse. However, the first 2 shots did relieve the pain for awhile but the last 2 did nothing. What you must realize is that the shots are only a band aid and not a cure. The side effects may not be worth the risk. I will not have anymore shots and realize that I have to search out a cure (if there is such a thing). Good luck, I know and sympathize with your pain.
