You are right... they are two different things. I have a spur in my right foot and the pf in the other...Guess which one hurts worse? The left. The dr. says this foot is in the process of having the tendon detach but has not yet had the calcium fill in to form the spur. Which I believe, since the left foot did not start to hurt till about 7 mos. after the first. I am encouraged by this because I am DILIGENTLY now trying to baby the left foot so the the spur will not form. But it is tough. Fortunately I have a very understanding and helpful husband.
