Jill - It sounds just like when I started to wear the birks - sore front lower legs and immediate lessening of the pain. I wore them full time 100% work, play and home as slippper, etc. Has been full time for a year this coming May. I am "pain-free" - yesterday I went to a parade of homes tour (18 homes - some 3 levels) in one day from 11-7:00 p.m. - I wore my birks to the door of each home and as luck would have it they had none of those little footses for going over shoes so I was forced to go barefoot through all those houses or go home. So I did go barefoot and then immediately wore the birks at the end of each home tour. I thought today I would be in pain but although my feet and legs feel "tired" and during the night my arches felt a tingling sensation I have no return of the old pain. I almost consider this "cured" but will continue with the Arizona Birks. I had previously had 4 very bad yrs. so if I can achieve this with persistence and patience wearing the Birks I know you can too! Best of Luck. Diane R.
