I used to wear all those fake sandals when I didn't have the foot pain. Once I was diagnosed with PF my doctor said no sandals. I then found that I coulnd't wear them as they caused pain. then when I kept reading all the messages about people with Birks that had some relief from their pain I had to try them out.. When I tried them on in the store I could not beleive how comfortable they were. I debated for about a week, was $90 or my pain more important. I finally found a pair on sale for $82 and bought them. I am looking forward to summer to buy my second pair. I wore them all the time in the summer and into fall, but now that there is snow on the ground it makes it kind of difficult. My suggestion is that if you find relief from the cheapies then wear them,but just go try on a pair of Birks.
