Karlen, The people at the Institute of Sports Medicine in Toronto are really getting sensitive to prescreening for the correct patients. Although Orthotripsy is extremely effective for true chronic PF, it can't do much for nerve related heel pain. Dr. Galea insists on at least an X-Ray, CT or MRI that conclusively showes PF, and a diagnosis of PF from another MD. They are one of the few sites in the world that are using Ultrasound to diagnose PF. Try his web site at orthotripsy.com. I believe it is operational now. Good Luck!
