I to have had chronic heel pain for the past five years. It now is almost unbearable and I,m waiting for surgery for release of the offending nerve. I relieved the Plantar fasciatis with exercises but the TSS continued regardless of any Treatments or remedies offered. The exercise for PF is to stand at the edge of a step with only the ball of your feet on the step bend heel slowly downwards in a slow (not jerky) movement and hold for 10 seconds then gradually increase the time plus gradually have only your toes gripping the steps. You should have relief within a day or two. You do have to keep this exercise up or the pain returns. Hope this helps ....Ann in Canada
