I ran across your site. I have been working with a podiatrist and I was convinced that I had plantar fascitis with a heel spur. Then he started thinking it was a possible stress frx. Now I am going through a variety of referrals, but allow me to ask have you experienced persistent lower back pain with your foot problem? My pain is chronic and persistent in the right foot. It is a sense like a nail is being driven up the bottom of my foot and then I get a burning hot flash sensation across the bottom of my foot. Is that the heat that is referred to? I developed the problem just about 21/2 years ago and just spent six weeks casted. I just had my second steroid shot. The orthotics do seem to be the biggest relief as I have judged so far. The pain continues. Please write me.
