Hi Sandra--Yes, I wore this boot for four weeks x 24 hrs./day, except in the shower. I felt fine while wearing it but found that when I stopped there was no change whatsoever for me. I understand about the inactivity--I used to love to walk and take long hikes in the hills around the S.F. Bay Area with my dog. He's not too happy either! I wish you the best of luck with your boot--perhaps this will do the trick for you. I certainly hope so. Best, Barbara
