I have a standard car and the pain is in my left foot. However I had been driving a standard car for about 2 years before my pain started. My doctor suggested that my pain was from a treadmill. ( i had just received one for Christmas and my pain started in May?) But I have often thought of your theory! Good luck on your poll.
