plantar fasciitis in healthcare workers

Help! I work in a nursing home as a dietary supervisor and am having a lot of problems with my left foot. Have had a orthorics made and done all the stretching, iceing,shots. It seems the more i strech the more it hurts. I am not always on my feet,but most days i am walking up and down the halls. you know paper work! Yes, i am over weigh but have been this way all my life, so no new changes there. I want surgey to be the last option. Any suggestion out there. Thanks.
