I've been suffering with PF for almost a year now in my left foot.
I haven't tried orthotics yet, but live in "New Balance" shoes, which were highly recommended from my podiatrist. I have noticed that by stretching my calf muscles in the morning and evening, and rolling my foot up and down on a rolling pin every other night is helping tremendously. (use as much pressure as you can stand)
