Pinkie, that is a very inspiring story. I am so happy for you. I have been putting off trying to buy Birkenstocks because my problem is a little different at this point and I also live in Chicago and cannot wear clogs in this snow. I wear boots with orthotics but since I have calcium deposits on the achilles heel I cannot wear regular shoes as the top of the shoe in the back hits those deposits. However your very inspiring message has convinced me to try them if only ro wear at home. Thanks for the information and I hope you continue to improve.
