This really makes be think. I had a terrible bout with TMJ about 10 years ago. After about 5 years of pain, meds, arthroscopic surgery, splints, and a changed life, I had surgery where the discs in the joint were replaced with cartilage from my ear. I have had no problems since. I also am careful with my back after one bout which put me in bed over Christmas for about 10 days! Is there a connection?
