Wow, your symptoms sound very similar to mine! They pretty much told me the same thing except about walking wrong. I also had alot of trouble sleeping (for the past 6 months) I'd goto bed between 2am and 4am and get up between 6am and 8am! I was a walking zombie! Finally I tried Melatonin (reluctantly) and WOW! I picked up "Source Naturals" Melatonin Peppermint flavored sublingual from Wal Mart and all you do is put one tablet under your tongue and you'd better be heading to bed very soon! This stuff knocks you out for right around 8 hours. If you get up before 8 hours you feel like lead, go back to bed and finish up that 8 hours and you feel like a million bucks. I used it about 4 to 5 nights and I've been sleeping normal since and I quit using it after the first 4 or 5 nights!!!
Get those Orthos for your shoes. They really help. I tried the dr. sholes inserts but they are too flexible. The orthos from your doc are hard plastic and when you first hold them you think they will make your feet hurt even worse but they really cradle your feet and help alot. I got the sport orthos which only come to the mid part of your foot and dont cover the entire foot. Like em alot. Cant walk in shoes without them!
