Hi, I am new at this message board, but have suffered with PF for over 3 years and have surgery scheduled for 2/24/99. I agree with NEVER going barefoot, and highly urge all to get a pair of Birkenstocks. I did not care for these shoes prior to developing the PF, but now I live in them and feel that the only relief I seem to get is when I am in these shoes. Good luck to all. Tracey
