I have a friend with fibromylgia. She was referred to a arthritis specialist - apparantly very similiar symptoms. Her shoulders and sometimes other muscles get very hard and painful. She was also found to have a rotator cuff problem (shoulder). She's doing well now with medication and P.T. I won't have much faith in podiatrist for PF. Inserts and excerise seem to be the answer. Injections are only temporary. Just takes sooooo long for relief. Very best wishes to you. God bless.
