I was told that if I were paying cash (no insurance) the surgery would cost $8,000 to $10,000 per foot. This is with the dr. who operated on Mark McGwire. I think there are many things you should try before you have surgery even if you had the money for it. Keep reading. I think orthotics are your best bet. Also, you might want to find out if there is any group that gives freebies to your community. I'll see what I can find out.
