birks vs ecco vs scholls...

I have just discovered Birks, bought the inserts and a pair of sandals (on sale) and my feet just love them. But I can understand how they could be uncomfortable for some people. Our feet shapes are all SO different. They certainly look a fright though, when I look down at my feet I shriek. I tried to describe them to my sister, over the phone, she laughed so much I think it must have been a fairly accurate description! She has asked if she can now call me Bigfoot, or Yeti, Yet for short.

I wore Scholls many many years ago, and eventually loved them, but they took ages to get used to, and when I first got them I thought I had made a mistake, BUT it was a bit of a fashion thing then, and all my friends wore them, so ....!

More recently, I've had some Ecco shoes that just lasted and lasted for years, so the initial expense was definitely worth it. I don't have any at the moment, but will wait until this foot thing has been properly diagnosed before I do any more shoe shopping.

I'm now waiting for an appointment to go for an x-ray, to confirm whether there is an actual spur or not.

Keep smiling, fellow Bigfoots, If anyone annoys you, stand on their toes.
