Since August I've had terrible pain in my left heel. Always have worn orthotics, prior to the pain. In October, received an injection in the heel. I'm a runner, but have not run since September. Tried 3 more pair of orthotics, all made my heel hurt. Started Physical Therapy, ultrasound, and taping. I golf and hurt with the tape on. I wear Birkenstocks and have Birkenstock inserts, I hurt with the inserts also. Should I get a MRI for possible stress fracture? I'm really frustrated of hurting all of the time.
