My experience exactly, except my pain relief lasted a few days longer than yours, then I reinjured. Sometimes a shot can work if it breaks up chronic inflammation and you don't reinjure, it can allow the foot to begin to heal itself. Read below for others who have had shots, we don't recommend it.
