Good News and Bad News - Morton's Neuroma

Posted by Rick on 2/24/99
The good news is my PF pain has been very minimal lately. I started taking alfalfa (6 to 8 650 mg tablets per day). It seems to be helping.

Now the bad - Last week I went to the orthodedic doctor to have my non-PF (right) foot checked. I had been experiencing pain in the ball of that foot - right below the 3rd/4th toes. X-rays eliminated any bone damage; and the diagnosis was Morton's Neuroma, which I had suspected already. They gave me a metatarsal pad and suggested alternating ice and heat treatment. I have noticed some improvement, but not much. Has anyone had any experience with this problem? Any recommendations?
