I have been running in Brooks shoes for four years now. In my opinion, they are among the best for the money. The Beast model has a significant anti-pronation design, so be sure this is the design you need based on your gait type. Also, be sure to select a good pair of socks that will work with the shoes as a "system." I have a personal preference, but since I work for the company that makes them, I'll only mention them if you will e-mail me.
