PT will help but it takes several visits - with each visit you will increase your stretching. The first PT I went to I had your first experience, I did not go back. A few weeks later I went to a different PT. (My insurance would not pay for Chir.) The second time the PT said not to continue if I had pain, only push to that point. She would first do ultrasound, heat, excerise then ice. I was given the band to work at home. Relief came slowly but now I's about 90% pain free. I have found the same to be true with PF. I have not gone to PT, but an ORTHO. gave excerises and said to ice. That along with this site has been a God-sent!!!!
