Have you considered trying the Birks inserts? My husband can't wear Birks either. He doesn't have PF but his feet hurt alot at the end of the day. He is trying the inserts. I think I ordered them from the Shoe Tree out of Canada. Tony gives you 30 days to wear them and if they just arent' working you can send them back for a refund. The big plus is the American/Canadian currency exchange. Saves around $20 I think.
