My doctor advised NOT getting the shots. He said that the cortisone only masks the pain and delays the actual healing process for about three months. Massage therapy works great. I understand what you're saying about everyone around you being miserable. It makes you feel so bad! People who don't have the pain just don't understand. Thank goodness for this board.
