Peter,
Has your doctor specifically diagnosed you with a heel spur? If not, you may not have one just because you feel pain in your heel. You need to see a doctor, preferably an orthopedist for an accurate diagnosis. You don't want to just start trying any remedies. Typically, heel spurs form on the base of the heel, not on the back of the heel.
