My cast was put on to wear for (4) weeks. HAH! It had to come off after (9) days.. The pain became very very intense and I began having severe muscle spams in the leg. As it goes, some treatments work with some; and some do not. Go for it if YOU think it may help. If it is not going to work, believe me, you will know and you can have it removed. Good Luck
