Need info. on tarsal tunnel release - anyone had it?

At my wits end, I am seriously considering tarsal tunnel release surgery on both feet. If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know. I don't see how I could get much worse (constant pain, and almost completely disabled, in a wheelchair if I have to be on my feet over 7-10 minutes). But, then again, maybe it can get worse! Please let me know if you have any info.
