I have been cycling for approximately one year now with LOOK pedals...and I was recently diagnosed with PF..but my sports med doc said that this was not the cause of my PF. I roll my feet when I walk and I also have very flat, wide feet. I cycle approximately 100 to 150 miles per week and I have no problems at all. If the seat of your machine is letting you extend your leg properly, that is with a slight bend and full extension but not a knee locking extension..u should not have any problems...I am currently getting orthotics made and I have bought some Birkenstocks because I was told they are the best shoe for this condition...but right now I am willing to do anything to get rid of the pain..But ride, ride, ride...just make sure your bike fits u properly. Good Luck!
