It's only 2 weeks post op and I can already walk with only one crutch.
Very painful when I first get up but if I stretch a little and bend my foot up and down it isn't to bad. I am down to one vicodin a day after being on them for 7 months straight before the surgery.Had the surgery @ UCSF Mt Zion in San Francisco. Dr J did a great job. By all means get a top DR. PS. I have had diabetes for 39 years and had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands in '94 & '95

Now 2 months post op. No more nerve pain but still some PF. Going to physical therapy 3 days a week for 3 weeks now. Heel is finally loosening up with soft tissue massage and alot of stretching.Using an interferential stimulator twice a day for 20 minutes which helps with pain and swelling.
